The French Open is currently underway at the Stade Roland-Garros complex in Paris, and it has already pulled some thrilling contests and shock upsets.With defending champion Carlos Alcaraz out due to injury, it was a golden opportunity for world no. 1 Jannik Sinner, and other stars like Daniil Medvedev, Ben Shelton, or Taylor Fritz to claim the men’s singles title at Roland-Garros for the first time. Unfortunately, all of the aforementioned names have been knocked out, and Novak Djokovic is the only remaining player with a Grand Slam win (he has 24!).In women’s singles, world no. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, defending champion Coco Gauff, and 4-time French Open winner Ina Świątek are still in contention.
